Fifty Shades of Boring

So I succombed to the hype and read "Fifty Shades of Grey".   As a matter of fact, I read the whole trilogy.  (I have this thing whereby once I start - I have to finish - no matter how bad).

I was hoping for an erotic piece of literature.  Overall it's.....meh - at best.  The overuse of certain facial expressions - "she bit her lip", "he cocked his head" and the whole inner goddess thing just became rather annoying.  Did anyone else find the sex scenes less than salacious?
